Add and manage multiple accounts

If you ever wanted to switch from one account to another without having to drearily log in and out all the time, there’s a solution for you!

So, if you are maintaining a personal account aside from your business account, or you have a separate account for Instagram Takeovers, or perhaps you use a different account to spy on your competition so you don’t have to worry about accidental Likes, you can easily add and navigate through multiple accounts without ever logging out. Here’s how:

  1. Go to your profile on your mobile app
  2. Go to Options by tapping the gear icon for iOS or the three dots for Android
  3. Select Add Account
  4. Input Username and Password for that account and you’re done!
  5. To switch to another account, long press on your profile image in the navigation bar until the menu appears
  6. Select your desired account

Add line breaks in your bio and caption

Make your bio and captions more readable by inserting line breaks. This is easy for Android users as you only need to tap the Return button to create breaks. For iOS users, here’s how you can do it:

Bio

  1. Go to your Notes app
  2. Write your bio with regular line breaks and anything else, like emojis, that you want to include
  3. Copy and Paste it on your Instagram profile

Captions

When adding line breaks on captions, you can simply hit the Return button on the keyboard. Here’s how you can make the Return button appear on your iPhone:

  1. Tap the 123 button in the bottom left. The keyboard will switch to the number pad
  2. Voila! The Return button is back where it belongs!

Disable comments

If for whatever reason you want to disable the Comment function on one of your posts, follow these steps:

  1. Go to the photo for which you want to turn commenting off
  2. Tap the three horizontal (iOS) or vertical (Android) dots above your post
  3. Select Turn Off Commenting

If your photo has existing comments, the comments will be hidden. If you decide to enable commenting again, the comments will appear right back.

Filter comments

Say you still want your audience to be able to comment but you don’t want Internet trolls to leave nasty ones – you can use the filter function.

Filter the comments based on offensive keywords determined by Instagram. Hide comments with offensive words by doing the following:

  1. Go to your profile
  2. Go to Options by tapping the gear icon for iOS or the three dots for Android
  3. Select Comments
  4. Toggle the switch for Hide Inappropriate Comments

You can also write additional keywords you don’t want to appear on your page under the Custom Keywords section.

Do you know that when you buy Instagram Followers, some providers also offer custom Comments to go with your bought Followers? This is great when you’re running a campaign. Rather than waiting for someone to notice your brand’s strengths, you can write comments that will lead your audience to the proof of your brand’s awesomeness.

Bought Followers will also help you in your ad campaigns as a massive number of Followers helps create online credibility. Never mind if they’re just bought, it’s the social proof that comes with it that is more important. Social proof is the one thing all marketers agree is an effective way of achieving marketing success both online and offline.

Rearrange the order of your filters

Make your favorite filters easier to find by rearranging the order that they appear on your screen. Do this:

  1. Go to Filter
  2. Scroll over to the end of all filters and tap Manage
  3. Press and hold the ‘three long lines’ icon beside the filter name
  4. Drag up or down to where you want it, then release

To hide or unhide a filter, just check or uncheck the circle next to it. Don’t forget to tap Done to save your settings.

Use Instagram as a photo-editing tool

Have you ever wished you could use the filters on Instagram for pictures you want to post or use somewhere else? Well, you can!

  1. Go to your profile
  2. Go to Options by tapping the gear icon for iOS and the three dots for Android
  3. Scroll down and toggle Save Original Photos
  4. Turn on Airplane mode on your phone
  5. Go to the photo you'd like to edit
  6. Edit as usual
  7. Skip adding a caption and hit Share
  8. The photo won’t post. Simply exit the notification by clicking X
  9. The photo is now saved on your phone
  10. Turn off Airplane mode and use the photo however you'd like!

Add as many filters to your photo as you like!

What if you want to apply more filters to your images? Edit your photo to your heart’s content by doing this:

  1. Follow the same instructions above on how to use Instagram as an editing tool
  2. Open the saved photo again
  3. Edit and add filters as usual
  4. Caption and Share

Don’t forget to turn the Airplane mode on if you want to add more filters instead of posting it immediately.

Add as many as 60 hashtags!

Hashtags help people find your post so the more hashtags you use, the higher the chances your post will be found by users. In fact, a study confirmed that posts with 11 or more hashtags perform better than the average. So, why not add more hashtags than a single post allows?

You can currently use up to 30 tags per post. Here’s how you can add more than 30 hashtags on a single post.

  1. Post your photo as usual but don’t put hashtags in the caption
  2. Copy and paste 30 hashtags into the comment section
  3. Go to the caption again to edit and add 30 more hashtags

To help your posts become more popular, you can buy Instagram Followers and other social signals. Your bought Followers will attract organic Followers,  helping you establish a stronger Instagram presence. Make sure you buy from the trusted providers that we’ve reviewed, so you don’t risk either your account or your reputation.

Hide hashtags

The problem with too many hashtags is that your post will look spammy, and spammy posts turn audiences off. Our solution? Hide your hashtags! Follow the steps below to do that.

  1. Write your caption (you don’t want to hide this!), then press the Return button to make a line break
  2. Insert a “.” (period) then press the Return button again
  3. Make another period then press Return (Repeat until you have at least 5 lines with nothing but periods.
  4. Write your hashtags as usual. These won’t show on the screen anymore. Instead, your audience will only see the first few lines which contain nothing but periods!

For a more fun look, why not use an emoji instead of a period? You can also do this on your Notes app and just copy-paste the whole thing into the caption field.

Hide photos you’ve been tagged in

Sometimes you might get tagged in photos you don’t want to appear on your profile for various reasons.

If you want to make sure all the photos on your page are brand-centric, or pretty, or consistent, or whatever it might be, you can hide the photos you’re tagged with. This is how:

  1. Go to your profile
  2. Click the person icon below your bio to access Photos of You

  1. Tap the three dots icon on the top right-hand corner
  2. Select Hide Photos
  3. Choose the photos you want removed then press Hide Photos at the bottom
  4. Confirm by clicking Hide From Profile when prompted

You can set your settings to either manually or automatically allow photo tagging. So, if you don’t want to do this again in the future, set it to Add Manually. Here’s how to do that:

  1. Go to Photos of You again
  2. Tap the three dots icon
  3. Select Tagging Options
  4. Choose Add Manually

Send photos privately

If you’re running a campaign and you need to make a follow-through with your target customers, why not send them photos privately? You can send photos to single or multiple recipients.

Here’s how:

  1. Upload and edit photo as usual
  2. Add caption and hash tag as usual
  3. On the Share page, click New Post on the top and select Direct Message from the drop down
  4. Choose your recipients
